CAA North America

Welcome to CAA North America!

The North American Chapter of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA) brings together archaeologists, computer scientists, mathematicians, and heritage specialists from across the United States and Canada. CAA-NA promotes dialogue and collaboration among practitioners from diverse disciplines to explore and advance the use of computational and quantitative approaches in archaeology and heritage research.

As a regional chapter of CAA International, CAA-NA supports community building, interdisciplinary exchange, and discussion on emerging technologiesy and analytical methods. The organisation hosts meetings and conferences, facilitates communication between members, and represents North American perspectives within the wider international CAA community. Membership is open to anyone interested in the application of digital and quantitative methods to understanding the human past.
